The restrictions come as Wrexham County Borough Council is set to issue a temporary traffic prohibition order to allow works by O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power. The works will involve the excavation of the footway to repair a mains cable along a specific stretch of A5152 Bradley Road. This will create a one-way closure between its junctions with Watery Road and Central Road for a distance of 148 metres. Traffic will flow from Watery Road to Central Road, but the road will be closed heading the opposite way. Due to that closure, there will be left-hand lane closures on Grosvenor Road, Regent Street, and Bradley Road.
