There was a large emergency service response at junction 34 near Ewloe on Wednesday evening (January 29). The A55 was closed in the eastbound direction and there was queueing traffic due to recovery work. North Wales Police have confirmed that the crash involved five vehicles and left 'several people' injured. More news:In a statement, NWP said: "We were alerted at 4.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) to a multiple vehicle RTC on the A55 Eastbound, near J34 (Ewloe Loop). "In total, five vehicles were involved and several occupants of those vehicles were injured, including one person who was transported to hospital in Stoke.
