After announcing its partnership with Google for smart glasses and XR headsets last year, Samsung has now confirmed plans to launch its own smart glasses in 2026. While the company did not reveal an exact timeline, the smart glasses could arrive before the end of the year. Reports indicate that Samsung is working on two smart glasses identified by model numbers SM-O200P and SM-O200J. Earlier leaks suggest that Samsung’s first-generation smart glasses will not include an AR display, while a second-generation model with an AR display could launch in 2027. Samsung has already announced a partnership with eyewear fashion brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker for smart glasses.
