Samsung is bringing 24-hour terrestrial news channels to Samsung TV Plus for the first time in South Korea. Samsung TV Plus is the company’s free, ad-supported TV service that is available on all Samsung TVs, as well as on Samsung smartphones, tablets, select monitors, and select high-end refrigerators. With the addition of terrestrial news channels, Samsung TV Plus viewers can access breaking news and major events more quickly. Other South Korean news channels currently available on Samsung TV Plus include JTBC News, Korea Economic TV, Maeil Business Newspaper TV, MBN News, Yonhap News TV, and YTN. Samsung TV Plus now has over 100 million users globally across 30 countries.
