Rhianon Stidever, who has helped transform opportunities for female players in and around Malmesbury, was invited to Parliament by South Cotswolds MP Dr Roz Savage in recognition of her ​​contributions to community football in Wiltshire. Her work with Malmesbury Youth FC Girls and Malmesbury Victoria Women’s FC has helped grow the game in her area, expanding from just 15 players to more than 100 girls and 40 women now playing regularly. Dr Savage said: "It was a real pleasure to welcome Rhianon to Parliament and to recognise the remarkable difference she has made in her community. "Her work has opened doors for so many girls and women in Malmesbury and beyond, and it shows just how powerful community-led sport can be. The motion also paid tribute to the role of Malmesbury Youth FC and Malmesbury Victoria FC in supporting this progress.
