There were 805 new homes completed in County Tipperary last year. The Minister for Housing, James Browne is welcoming the increased home completions reflected in today’s data from the Central Statistics Office(CSO)for 2025. According to the report, a total of 36,284 new dwellings were completed in 2025 including the 805 in county Tipperary:Local Electoral Area Number of Completions Clonmel 184 Cashel/Tipperary 128 Thurles 118 Roscrea/Templemore 103 Nenagh 100 Cahir 69 Carrick on Suir 64 Newport 39This national total of 36,284 is the highest number of completions recorded in any given year since the CSO began recording this data series in 2011. Over the last five years, 148,995 new homes have been delivered and this indicates the challenge of meeting a Government promise of 300,000 new homes in the coming five year period. The number of apartments completed in 2025 was 12,047, up 38.7% from 2024 but new housing delivery is strongest in Dublin and the Kildare/Meath/Louth/Wicklow area which combined to account for 58% of all new homes last year.
