Net sales during the fourth quarter also climbed 2% year on year to SEK59.2bn (£4.9bn).
H&M noted that its online channel “continues to perform well”, now contributing to more than 30% of sales.
H&M is plotting the opening of 80 new stores in 2026, alongside 160 store closures.
H&M’s group sales in the period from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026 are expected to fall by 2% in local currencies year on year.
H&M Group chief executive Daniel Ervér hailed “progress” in 2025 and said: “Through a strengthened customer offering, good cost control and improved inventory productivity, we continue to take important steps towards all our long-term targets in a challenging environment.
