Osteria Mozza Alumni and Robert Kim to open new pasta bar with a culinary twist. Lapaba, a new Italian-Korean pasta bar, is scheduled to open on February 3 and will introduce a menu that reinterprets Italian classics through the use of Korean ingredients and techniques. Lapaba is owned by restaurateur Robert Kim, whose portfolio includes several well-known Korean restaurants and lounges in Los Angeles, including Norikaya, Mama Lion, and ABSteak Los Angeles. Silverton is involved with Lapaba as a partner alongside Tanya Bastianich, Joe Bastianich, and Robert Kim, providing menu oversight and culinary guidance. Lapaba is located at 558 S.
