Expressing concern over financial delays, the teacher unions’ representatives demanded the government’s immediate release of pending bills and dearness allowance arrears.
Meanwhile, the teacher unions extended support to the Parliament march scheduled for February 5 over the issue of mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) certification for in-service teachers.
PRTU TS president P Damodar Reddy, TS UTF president Chava Ravi, STU president G Sadanandam Goud, and representatives of TRTF, TPTF, DTF, TSGHMA, BCTA, PTATG, SC/ST teacher unions, and several other associations, participated in the meeting.
