Lok Sabha Speaker scolds members for talking during Question HourLok Sabha Speaker Om Birla reprimanded members for holding prolonged discussions during Question Hour and warned that those disturbing proceedings would be named. Birla said he had seen members from either side talking to each other constantly, disturbing others. Such behaviour was against the dignity of the House and those who wished to indulge in prolonged discussions could go out of the Lok Sabha chamber, he said. The Speaker remarked that brief talks were allowed but not prolonged discussions. He warned that from now on he would name members disturbing proceedings and asked Congress’ K C Venugopal to cut short his chat with fellow members.
