The incident happened in St Michael’s Road, Long Stratton, on Monday morning. Officers seized the vehicle, a Land Rover Freelander, after running checks and discovering that it was registered as having no insurance and no tax. The driver was reported to the DVLA, and a spokeswoman for the force confirmed "it will be for the Central Ticketing Office to handle the outcome of the no insurance". She added: "Road safety is often a priority for our local policing teams, from speeding to no insurance, anti-social behaviour to driving offences such as drink driving, using your mobile phone and no seatbelt. "If you want to have a say on how your local officers police this, and many other issues, you can fill in our survey here."
