HALLOWELL – Geraldine (MacBurnie) Roley passed away peacefully on Jan. 18, 2026 in Hallowell. “Gerry” was born in Farmington on Oct. 24, 1923, the daughter of Harry and Bernice (Bailey) MacBurnie. While at UMaine she met the love of her life Ray D. “Red” Roley. Red passed away in 2002 and Gerry maintained both locations before moving back to Maine full time in 2020. An active and social person throughout her life, Gerry belonged to various organizations, often taking a leadership role.
