A major two-storey extension is being planned at the Brownlow Health Centre. Proposals have been drawn up by the Southern Health Trust and lodged with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. Home to the Lakes Family Practice and based at the Legahory Centre in Craigavon the extension would allow for an increase in capacity across various areas, with an additional 30 staff expected on site daily. If approved, additional consultation rooms would be constructed, together with clinical support and admin accommodation. A platform lift would also be installed at the health centre, which lies adjacent to St Anthony’s Primary School.
