Peter Obi says anyone insulting ADC leaders is a criminal, not ObidientThe 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has distanced himself from supporters who have been hurling insults at leaders of the coalition-backed African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Mr Obi said anyone attacking leaders of the party with abusive language is a criminal impersonating an “Obidient” supporter and does not represent his political values.
“Let me make it clear here: most of the things you hear are done by criminals who are not Obidient people,” Mr Obi said.
But some elements are doing this to hurt the Peter Obi brand,” Mr Obi said.
He urged Nigerians to focus on pressing national issues rather than political insults.
