“A-list” musical artists from the Asia-Pacific region that did 2025 shows in Macau might not repeat that concert cycle this year, and Macau show organisers are sourcing for 2026 a variety of pop artists that could still potentially fill performance venues. Macau saw in 2024 and again in 2025 notable growth in the number of concerts held in the city , noted Mr Che. Within the first three months of this year, the 16,000-seat Galaxy Arena at Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd’s Cotai resort Galaxy Macau, is hosting a variety of pop acts. In 2025 Galaxy Arena hosted concerts from regional pop artists including: Taeyang; J-Hope; NCT 127; G-Dragon; Jacky Cheung; Eason Chan; and Jackson Wang. Last year the Venetian Arena hosted artists including: Richie Jen; 2NE1; Sammi Cheung; The Chainsmokers; Sandy Lam; and Twice.
