Billy Bragg releases ‘City of Heroes’ in support of protestors in MinneapolisBilly Bragg has released his new single, ‘City of Heroes’, in support of anti-ICE protestors in Minneapolis. The English singer-songwriter has become the latest figure in the music industry to condemn the actions of the regime in the Minnesotan city amid the killings of Alex Pretti of Renee Good at the hands of ICE officers this month. All the more so as we are still reeling from the images of the murder of Renee Good. He also called out “the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis”. On the track, ‘The Boss’ obliterates the Trump regime and sings, “A city aflame fought fire and ice, ‘Neath an occupier’s boots, King Trump’s private army from the DHS, Guns belted to their coats, Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law, Or so their story goes.”
