The Recording Academy has shared that Lauryn Hill will perform during the segment in honour of the late D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. Additionally, Reba McEntire will be joined by Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson to honour other musical figures who passed away in 2025. Last year, the in memoriam segment of the show included prominent tributes for One Direction star Liam Payne, country legend Toby Keith, and Quincy Jones, featuring a performance of ‘All My Love’ by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and Grace Bowers. It has also been revealed that Trevor Noah will be on hosting duties for the sixth consecutive year.
