Morocco held a strategic meeting in Rabat focused on renewing its offshoring sector offering, marking a new phase in developing service outsourcing as a pillar of the Maroc Digital 2030 national strategy. She stressed the central role of human capital, innovation, and skills development in supporting the sector’s evolution toward higher value-added activities. By late 2024, the offshoring sector employed 148,500 people, with 18,500 net job creations over two years and service exports reaching 26.22 billion dirhams. These figures confirm offshoring’s significant contribution to national digital economy growth and Morocco’s positioning in global value chains. By 2030, Morocco aims to double export revenues to nearly 40 billion dirhams while increasing sector employment to 270,000 positions through an attractive “Made in Morocco” offering competitive for major international digital players.
