Workers under the platform of Federal Workers Forum, FWF, have described the recent arrest of Taiwo Hassan, also known as Soweto, as unjust and unconstitutional. The group made this declaration while reacting to the arrest of the human rights activist in Lagos. They called for immediate and unconditional release of the activist. “The Federal Workers Forum joins millions of homeless and destitute Nigerians to strongly condemn the unjust and provocative arrest of Comrade H. T. Soweto. “This arrest is baseless and represents a direct attack on the constitutional rights of Nigerians to peacefully protest against unjust and anti-people policies of the ruling government.
