Fire crews fight blaze involving 100 tonnes of scrap

West Midlands Fire Service said they were called at around 7am on Thursday (January 29) to a scrapyard on Oak Lane in Kingswinford with seven appliances sent to the scene.
An estimated 100 tonnes of scrap was involved in the fire with site staff working with fire crews to move metal and create a fire break.

"An estimated 100 tonnes of scrap was involved.
"Site staff have been working with fire crews, using on-site machinery to move metal and create a fire break.
