In doing so, Tan Dhesi MP pledged his commitment to marking Holocaust Memorial Day to honour those murdered during the Holocaust, including the six million Jewish men, women and children. It is also a time to pay tribute to all of those persecuted by the Nazis, including Roma and Sinti people, disabled people, gay men, political opponents to the Nazis and others. After signing the book, Tan Dhesi said: "On Holocaust Memorial day, we remember the millions murdered because of the ideology of hate and division. "Society can never forget these horrors and we must not allow such evil to ever be perpetrated again."
