Arts & Entertainment, News January 29th, 2026Sharing Our Cultures will hold its 2nd annual Multimedia Exhibition by school youth from around the province on Motivating Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism on Friday and Saturday at The Rooms Museum in St. John’s. Joan Marie J. Aylward, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador will bring the opening remarks. On Saturday, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the public is invited to join in facilitated Community Conversations about EDI-AR in education, healthcare, and social work. This is an informal time to engage the public in conversations about what EDI-AR looks like in their spaces (work, school, neighbourhood, community). The project, Motivating Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Antiracism (M.E.D.I.A) through multimedia, is designed to encourage conversations about the value of EDI-AR in schools, workplaces, and communities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
