Thus, the attainment date for Marginal nonattainment areas for the 2015 ozone NAAQS was August 3, 2021, and the attainment date for Moderate nonattainment areas was August 3, 2024. A determination of attainment by the attainment date does not have the effect of redesignating a nonattainment area to attainment under CAA section 107(d)(3).
