One of the survivors of the fatal road accident involving PAOK football supporters in Romania has spoken publicly, expressing deep grief over the loss of his friends and describing the aftermath of the crash that killed seven people. The survivors are currently being treated in Timișoara, where they were taken following the collision on Tuesday afternoon, January 27. The accident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. on a busy and reportedly dangerous road, several kilometers past the town of Caransebeș. Today is a day of grief,” he said, adding that the loss outweighs any discussion about testimonies or responsibility. The survivor said he remains fully conscious and remembers everything leading up to the collision.
