USF’s Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing launched in fall 2025 — and the program is already redefining how emerging technologies are taught, researched and applied across campus. While classes have been operating for just over a semester, Sudeep Sarkar, the launch dean of the Bellini College, said preparations began well before then. Sarkar said experiential learning through various research routes and internships is expected to become a graduation requirement for Bellini College students soon. Sarkar said the college’s growth has given it the potential to lead AI and cybersecurity education in Florida and beyond.
