Crowe questions Ballycar wind farm review
['Dan Danaher']
The Clare Champion
Deputy Cathal Crowe (FF) has raised questions about the use of a private consultancy to conduct an independent review of the aviation impact of the proposed Ballycar Wind Farm.
The hearing, held by An Coimisiún Pleanála, examined aviation-related issues connected with the Ballycar Wind Farm application.
In October, Deputy Crowe raised concerns about aviation and air safety in the Dáil with the Taoiseach, Micheál Martin.
He subsequently became aware that Sagentia, a company headquartered in Cambridge, England, had been engaged by ACP to provide an “Independent Aviation Review” for the Ballycar planning case.
Ten months earlier, Sagentia had traded under the name Osprey Consulting Services and prepared an Aviation Impact Assessment report for the proposed Oatfield Wind Farm.
