The FBI confirmed it carried out a court-authorized search at the county’s Election Hub and Operation Center in Union City, a warehouse-style facility opened in 2023. Fulton County officials said the warrant sought records related to the 2020 election, and a county commissioner said roughly 700 boxes of ballots were taken from a secure location. Commissioner Mo Ivory called the search an “assault on voters” and accused the Trump administration of trying to sow chaos for political gain. Fulton County, home to Atlanta, voted heavily for Joe Biden in 2020.
