The scenario felt speculative when Nolan started writing, but now reads as if it could happen in the near future. I’m going to rewrite things. I’m going to cut that whole section. The book really blends a lot of dark humor with disaster, decay and grotesque representations. So we’ll have some reporting coming out from The Lens about, essentially, the relationship between New Orleans and this village.
