At around 4.10pm on Thursday, January 8, the driver of a silver Honda Jazz collided with a pedestrian in Marshalswick Lane, close to the crossroads with Marshals Drive and Jersey Lane. Herts police and the East of England Ambulance Service attended the scene, with a 48-year-old man rushed to hospital after sustaining serious head injuries and multiple fractures to his body. The driver of the Honda Jazz remained at the scene while officers conducted enquiries, which are still ongoing at this time. PC Charles Lumm, who is investigating, said: "I understand that this collision occurred some weeks ago, but following new information being received, I am appealing for anyone who has information about this collision to contact me.
