Offensive notices criticising drivers’ parking have provoked a backlash - with one responding “nobody has the right to touch my car”. The driver who made the post has since deleted it but told The Shetland Times they thought the notice had been left while they were parked in Tesco car park. “But nobody has the right to touch my car.”People commenting on the post suggested whoever had left the notice must be very petty to have gone to the trouble of buying the signs. Some people on the Facebook post suggested reporting the matter to the police, given the offensive language. Police have not received any complaints and it is not believed the leaving of the notices would constitute an offence.
