Three people have been arrested after almost half a million euro worth of cannabis was seized in Cork. ****Amazon has been called on to 'do the right thing' and engage with workers over threatened job cuts. Up to 300 positions are under threat at the company's Irish operations, as part of larger global cuts around the world. *****34,000 passengers are expected to fly to and from Cork Airport over the St Brigid's Bank Holiday Weekend. The bank holiday, which was introduced in 2023, has seen an increase in passengers both travelling abroad, and passengers arriving on Leeside.
