What started as a routine early-morning scouting trip quickly turned into a heartwarming rescue for members of the Santa Clarita Valley Search and Rescue Team. The SCV Sheriff’s Station dispatch center was notified that a dog rescue was in progress, and additional SCV Search and Rescue members were paged out. The Search and Rescue command post contacted the owners, who said the dogs had been missing overnight and had traveled an estimated six miles. SCV Search and Rescue wanted to make sure the dogs made it back to their home. A vibrant member of the Santa Clarita community, the KHTS broadcast signal reaches all of the Santa Clarita Valley and parts of the high desert communities located in the Antelope Valley.
