SHIPSTON High School is looking for a new headteacher following the departure of Gavin Saunders after 10 years in charge. Governors at the school said Mr Saunders, who joined Shipston, in September 2015, had left the role to take up consultancy work. A statement from Paul Chapman, chair of governors, said: “Shipston High School can confirm that headteacher Mr Saunders left at the end of the autumn term. Gavin Saunders joined Shipston in 2015. The governors added: “The school would like to thank Mr Saunders for his decade long leadership – and wish him every success as he takes on new challenges in the world of education.”
