A British D-Day hero was granted his 'final wish' as he 'died a happy man' days after being awarded a campaign medal for his part in the historic invasion. Mr Butt died the following Wednesday. Mr Butt said he 'can still see all the D-Day landing troops going in'. After the war, Mr Butt married Margurite in 1947 and settled in Worle, Somerset. Mr Butt's funeral will be held on February 26.
