Inspiration, the free Railway 200 exhibition train, will be on display at Minehead station from Monday, March 30, to Saturday, April 4, as part of its 60-stop tour marking 200 years of the modern railway.
Kerry Noble, general manager of West Somerset Railway, said: "We are very excited to have Inspiration, the Railway 200 exhibition train, back on the West Somerset Railway for 2026 after its successful visit back in 2025 in Bishops Lydeard.
"This opportunity will give residents and visitors to Minehead and the surrounding areas the chance to see the exhibition train on the outskirts of Exmoor."
Its previous stop at West Somerset Railway’s Bishops Lydeard station in November attracted nearly 2,000 visitors.
"Inspiration has already travelled thousands of miles across Britain - from Scotland to Southampton - and it had a really fantastic response when it was last at West Somerset Railway.
