Firefighters attended Hallwood Close and Hawks Court in Runcorn on Tuesday, January 27. This was following reports that a water pipe had burst. Aerial pictures sent in by local Ian Cank showed the extent of the flooding on Hallwood Close as water has covered the entire road and flooded onto the drives of several houses. Firefighters also worked to clear blocked drains nearby to the properties to 'improve water runoff' and sandbags were delivered.
