The Standard last week that from January 25, Arriva had published a new timetable for the bus service. The 4S had been servicing the villages of Mynydd Isa, Bryn-Y-Baal and New Brighton on its way to Mold. That would see it carry on along the A549 Mold Road towards the Wylfa roundabout, instead of turning right on to Mercia Drive, through Mynydd Isa towards Bryn-Y-Baal. Arriva said the decision was made following issues negotiating the current route, due to parked cars along Mercia Drive/Chambers Lane. It said after consultation with Flintshire County Council, the decision was made to re-route the service to "ensure its continued reliability".
