National Trust visitors have been issued with an important notice about visiting Baddesley Clinton today (Thursday, January 29), involving a road closure in Rising Lane.
The work by Openreach is due to last between 9.30am and 3.30pm today according to Warwickshire County Council, affecting how visitors access the moated manor house.
A spokesperson for the National Trust said yesterday: "There is a road closure being put in place along Rising Lane tomorrow (Thursday, Jannary 29) from 9.30am.
"Please access Baddesley from Netherwood Lane which is the road opposite the entrance to Baddesley Clinton."
Popular with National Trust members in Worcestershire, the Warwickshire property is a 13th-century moated manor house which served as a sanctuary for the Ferrers family for 500 years.
