The Environment Agency has issued or retained 18 flood alerts in Oxfordshire following heavy rain on Monday and Tuesday. A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "River levels on the Clanfield Brook are high following recent heavy rainfall." According to advice issued by Oxfordshire County Council, flood water is not clean and not suitable for children to play in. Anyone who has been in flood water should wash their hands at the soonest opportunity.
