Lower Street in Islip near Oxford has been regularly hit with floods in recent months, with the road currently closed due to the water levels. It comes after a Mini Cooper was spotted on the road, submerged in the floodwater, on Sunday (January 25) afternoon. The forecast is dry until late today with some rain forecast thereafter. The Environment Agency has warned people to 'be prepared' for flooding amid rising river levels and highly saturated ground following extensive rainfall.
