Banbury Kebabish in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, was inspected by Cherwell District Council's Environmental Health team on December 18. The takeaway was given a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating following the inspection and was told that 'improvement' is 'necessary'. The hygienic handling of food, which includes preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage, was deemed to be 'generally satisfactory'. This includes system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
