The same is true of the music on “American Dreams,” next week’s program by CityMusic Cleveland. Indeed, when Grams and others at CityMusic were formulating “American Dreams,” “Appalachian Spring” – along with the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday – was the starting point. As a resident of Cleveland, he’s continued to admire the group’s community focus, its dedication to presenting free, high-level concerts in venues all over Northeast Ohio. “American Dreams” is headed to four churches on both sides of town. Where: Fairmount Presbyterian Church, Cleveland Heights (Feb. 5); St. Noel Catholic Church, Willoughby Hills (Feb. 6); Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus, Cleveland (Feb. 7); and Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Cleveland (Feb. 8).
