Senior forward Leonel Rodriguez cemented his name in Kofa soccer history on Tuesday night, scoring his 38th goal of the season, securing the single-season scoring record at the school in the mercy-rule era. With his most recent goal, he passed Tiernan Nicewander, who happens to be the son of current head coach Jamie Nicewander. Following the penalty kick, Rodriguez headed towards his bench, where he found the nearest camera to hit a new celebration he had been practicing. "I just did a little two hands to my mouth, and I opened my mouth, like acting surprised," Rodriguez said. The Kings would go on to win that game 4-0, but they now have their sights set on their final regular season game against the San Luis Sidewinders.
