Yorkshire Water customers will see an average increase of 5.6 per cent from April, adding about £2.80 per month to typical household bills. Other planned works include a £22 million upgrade to the Ingbirchworth water treatment site and a continued £1.5 billion investment to reduce sewer overflows and improve water quality. Yorkshire Water estimates that it will invest the equivalent of £3,600 per household between 2025 and 2030. Support options include Water Support and Water Sure programmes, as well as schemes to help with bill arrears. Yorkshire Water representatives will be holding drop-in sessions across the region in February, March, and April to offer advice and assistance, including help signing up for the Priority Service Register for those with additional needs.
