But a new immersive experience moves beyond all that, to tell the story of the Viking world's most formidable family. It centres on King Ragnar Lodbrok, the wise Queen Kraka (Aslaug), and their world-conquering sons, Ivar the Boneless, Bjorn Ironside, Hvitserk and Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye, as they assemble the Great Heathen Army and change the course of European history. The story will focus mostly around Queen Kraka (Aslaug), powerful matriarch of a Viking dynasty. The experience features the beautiful and mythological Tree of Light, representing the centre of Norse mythology and connecting the heavens, the middle world and the underworld. Vikings: The Immersive Experience will arrive at Dock X, Canada Water, London, on 12 March, and promises to inspire curiosity and imagination.
