Darbhanga: After a navigation error led to a minor traffic violation, a woman doctor alleged that the situation escalated unnecessarily when the station house officer responded aggressively, allegedly using abusive language and displaying his firearm, instead of handling the situation in a composed manner.
The conflict has surfaced in Darbhanga following allegations of misconduct against the officer heading the Benta police station.
The complaint was lodged by a doctor who stated that the incident occurred while she was on her way back from Patna to Darbhanga with her driver.
Speaking to Patna Press, the doctor said that she was travelling from Patna to Darbhanga and was unfamiliar with the city routes.
If it were a one-way violation, traffic police could have issued the fine.
