Since vehicle imports resumed one year ago, BYD has rapidly established market leadership, securing the number one position in both the brand-new vehicle and electric vehicle segments, with the SEALION 6 leading the SUV category. “The response to BYD in Sri Lanka has been resoundingly positive. As volumes grew during this period, BYD expanded its local operations under John Keells CG Auto through a phased rollout of models and showrooms to support demand on the ground. A key part of this effort is the opening of BYD’s largest after-sales service centre in Sri Lanka, located in Wattala.
