TROY, N.Y. — Mayor Carmella Mantello announced the appointment of Chris Arzoumanian as the new Director of the City of Troy Department of Public Utilities (DPU), will oversee the City’s water and sewer operations. As the new director, Arzoumanian will serve more than 110,000 residents in Troy and surrounding municipalities. Additionally, he will also include oversight of Troy’s lead service line replacement program and other infrastructure and utility initiatives. “Chris Arzoumanian is a proven public servant with deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in water and sewer operations,” Mantello said in a press release. “I am excited to return to the City of Troy and serve as Director of the Department of Public Utilities,” Arzoumanian said.
