Volvo has announced a major shake-up to its UK leadership team as the carmaker looks to continue its ‘incredible journey’ since switching to an agency sales model. The Swedish brand has appointed Marc Piovesan as its new chief financial officer, replacing Johan Olsson who left the role last July after five years. The new position will focus on delivering a ‘premium direct-to-consumer experience’, and see Woolley continuing on Volvo’s UK executive management team. Piovesan, Woolley and French will all report directly to Volvo’s UK MD Nicole Melillo Shaw in their new roles. ‘The UK business has been through huge transformation in the last few years and watching from the sidelines I have always been impressed at the results.
