Spread the loveKathmandu, Jan 29: Preparations are underway to draft a roadmap for the government that will be formed after the March 5 election, focusing on good governance and building a corruption-free society through legal, administrative, and structural reforms.
On Wednesday, a workshop was held in Kathmandu to gather views from secretaries and joint secretaries.
Officials said the roadmap will outline how the government and the civil service should work together to improve governance and service delivery in the coming years.
He said the document will also identify problems faced by citizens in receiving public services and set out the bases for strengthening institutions where service delivery remains weak.
Stating that the government alone cannot ensure good governance, he said the roadmap will also include a shared agenda for all three tiers of government and the civil service.
